1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Soccer Time Track iPhone and Apple Watch apps and the Soccer Time Track pages at masawata.net/SoccerMinutes. “MasaWata,” “we,” “our,” and “us” refer to MasaWata Tech, the developer of Soccer Time Track.
Apple provides the operating system, App Store, Apple Health, iCloud, CloudKit, MapKit, WatchConnectivity, and related platform services. Apple’s handling of information through those services is governed by Apple’s own terms and privacy policies.
2. Information the app processes
Depending on the features and permissions you use, Soccer Time Track may process the following information:
Session and match information
- Session date, start and end time, duration, and type, such as Match, Practice, Friendly, or Other.
- Field time, sideline time, playing states, stints, and session timeline.
- Team name, jersey number, opponent, notes, field or venue name, and address that you enter or the app derives for the session.
- Goals for and against, your goals and assists, cards, substitutions, and period or interval markers.
Fitness, Health, and motion information
- Heart rate, active energy, walking or running distance, and workout information you authorize through Apple Health.
- Speed, acceleration, step cadence, sprint and burst events, motion readings, and derived performance summaries.
- Technical identifiers used to connect an app session with a workout or synchronize an app record.
Location information
- GPS coordinates and speed during permission setup and active sessions when Location access is allowed.
- A nearby field or venue name and address derived through Apple mapping and geocoding services.
Information you choose to provide
- Manual session details, team details, opponents, notes, and edits.
- Information included in a support email you send to us.
- CSV or JSON exports you choose to create and share.
3. How the information is used
Soccer Time Track uses app information only to provide features you request, including:
- Running and saving soccer workout sessions.
- Estimating Playing, Low Activity, and Sideline states.
- Calculating field time, distance, speed, sprints, bursts, heart-rate summaries, calories, cadence, acceleration, and trends.
- Showing live metrics on a paired iPhone.
- Creating session history, match logs, analysis, and personal records.
- Saving a soccer workout to Apple Health when you authorize it.
- Synchronizing app records through iCloud when that feature is enabled.
- Creating an export when you ask for one.
- Responding to support requests you send to us.
Health, fitness, motion, and location information is not used for advertising, marketing profiles, or unrelated data mining.
4. Storage, transfer, and iCloud sync
On your devices
Soccer Time Track stores its session records in app storage on your devices. During normal operation, the Watch app sends live and completed session information to the paired iPhone using Apple’s device communication frameworks.
Private iCloud database
If iCloud Sync is enabled, including when it remains enabled in the app’s Settings, app records are synchronized through Apple CloudKit to the private iCloud database associated with your Apple Account. These records may include session details, match events, location details, and derived performance metrics. iCloud availability, security, retention, and account controls are also subject to Apple’s terms and settings.
No separate Soccer Time Track backend
Soccer Time Track does not require a developer account and MasaWata does not operate a separate app backend that receives your session history. We do not build an advertising or analytics profile from app session data.
5. Apple Health
With your permission, Soccer Time Track requests access to read heart rate, active energy, walking or running distance, and relevant workout information. It requests permission to save a completed soccer workout and related workout samples to Apple Health.
Apple Health permissions are granular and controlled by you. You may review or revoke them at any time through Apple’s Settings or Health app. Revoking access may limit heart-rate, energy, distance, workout-saving, or analysis features, but it does not prevent you from managing existing Soccer Time Track records.
Soccer Time Track is a general fitness and sports-analysis tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice.
6. Location, motion, and sensors
When allowed, the Watch app uses motion sensors, step cadence, and location during permission setup and active sessions. GPS speed and motion signals help estimate your activity state and performance. Session coordinates may be used with Apple MapKit or geocoding services to derive a field or venue name and address.
Location updates stop when the active session ends. If you deny Location access, the app can still run with reduced GPS, speed, distance, venue, and detection capabilities. Sensor-based classifications are estimates and may vary with hardware, permissions, Watch fit, signal conditions, and playing style.
8. Retention and deletion
- App records: remain until you delete individual sessions, choose Delete All Sessions, uninstall the app without retaining its data, or manage associated device and iCloud storage.
- iCloud records: app deletions are queued for the private iCloud database when sync is enabled and connectivity is available. Apple controls iCloud account and backup retention.
- Apple Health: Health data is managed separately. When deleting a linked session, the app can offer a choice to remove its associated Health workout. You can also manage Health data through Apple’s Health app.
- Exports: remain wherever you saved or shared them until you delete those copies.
- Support email: may be retained as reasonably needed to respond, maintain support history, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. You may ask us to delete a support conversation unless retention is required.
9. Website analytics
The Soccer Time Track website uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate page traffic and improve the website. Google may process information such as page views, referring pages, browser and device information, approximate location derived from IP address, cookies, or similar identifiers. Website analytics is separate from your Soccer Time Track app sessions and Apple Health data.
Google processes analytics information under the Google Privacy Policy. You may use browser privacy controls or Google’s available analytics opt-out tools to limit this processing.
10. Your privacy choices
- Allow, deny, or later revoke Health, Motion, and Location permissions through Apple settings.
- Turn iCloud Sync on or off in Soccer Time Track Settings.
- Edit or delete individual app sessions.
- Delete all Soccer Time Track sessions from the app.
- Choose whether to delete a linked Apple Health workout when that option is presented.
- Manage app storage, iCloud storage, and Health data through Apple’s system tools.
- Choose whether, where, and with whom to share an export.
- Use browser or Google controls for website analytics.
Because MasaWata does not maintain a Soccer Time Track account or separate session-data server, the primary access and deletion controls for app data are on your devices, in the app, and in Apple’s iCloud and Health settings.
11. Children
Soccer Time Track is a general sports and fitness app and is not directed specifically to children. We do not knowingly operate an account system or collect children’s app session data on a developer-controlled server. Parents and guardians should supervise device, Health, Location, iCloud, export, and website use as appropriate.
12. Security
Soccer Time Track relies on Apple platform protections, app sandboxing, device security, Health permissions, and iCloud security. No system can guarantee absolute security. Keep your devices and Apple Account protected, install software updates, and use device authentication.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when app features, services, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be reflected on this page and, where appropriate, in the app or App Store information.
