First-time setup

  1. Install Soccer Time Track on iPhone and its bundled Apple Watch app.
  2. Open the Watch app and complete permission setup.
  3. Allow Health, Motion, and Location access when requested.
  4. Choose Match, Practice, Friendly, or Other to begin.

Watch app not visible

On iPhone, open the Watch app, scroll to Available Apps, and install Soccer Time Track. Confirm the iPhone and Watch are paired, unlocked, and signed into the expected Apple Account.

Detection looks wrong

  • Wear Apple Watch snugly and start after reaching the field.
  • Confirm Motion and Location permissions are enabled.
  • Outdoor GPS readings may need a short time to settle.
  • Adjust Sensitivity or Advanced Detection in iPhone Settings.

Playing, Low Activity, and Sideline are sensor-based estimates; short pauses and unusual movement can affect classification.

Missing heart rate or GPS

  • Check Health access for heart rate, active energy, and walking/running distance.
  • Check Location Services for the Soccer Time Track Watch app.
  • Ensure the Watch has good skin contact.
  • Test outdoors with real movement; simulators cannot provide normal sensor values.

Live iPhone view

The Watch records the workout independently. For live iPhone metrics, keep the paired iPhone and Watch connected. If the live view pauses, bring the devices within range and reopen Soccer Time Track on iPhone.

Session did not transfer

  • Keep both devices nearby with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi enabled.
  • Open Soccer Time Track on both devices.
  • Allow a short time for a completed session to arrive.
  • Avoid deleting the Watch app before transfer completes.

iCloud sync

iCloud Sync is controlled in the iPhone app’s Settings. Confirm iCloud is available for the Apple Account and that Soccer Time Track has permission to use iCloud. Turning sync off keeps new changes on the device.

Apple Health

Health permissions are controlled by Apple. Open Settings or the Health app to review access. When deleting a linked session, Soccer Time Track can offer a separate choice to remove its Apple Health workout as well.

Export your data

Open Settings on iPhone and choose an export for sessions, stints, game events, or all data. CSV works well with spreadsheets; JSON preserves structured records for other tools.

Delete your data

Delete one session from its detail screen or use Delete All Sessions in Settings. If iCloud Sync is enabled, app-record deletions are sent to the private iCloud database. Apple Health data is managed separately.

Before you email Include your iPhone model, Apple Watch model, OS versions, app version, and a short description of what you expected versus what happened. Please do not send private Health or location data.
